Modern Lace ~ vintage meets modern wedding invitation

Vintage meets modern with this earth friendly and elegant invitation set - that pretty much sums up this breathtaking invitation. The custom design started from our Vintage Lace invitation set.

We made a single fold invitation into a layered panel invitation. Three layers are used, two of which are earth friendly with an ivory shimmer card layered in between. The shimmer card adds that little bit elegance and dimension when you see it glimmer. Speaking of elegance...when mixing a classy script font with a vintage style font we've created the perfect mix of modern meets vintage. We kept the guests guessing who the lucky couple is behind this breathtaking invitation by applying a thick light peach ribbon over the couples names. On top of that ribbon is a delicate lace wrap.

We decided to use the vintage style font throughout the rest of the invitation to give it a bold feel. With the simple titles, RSVP and INFO, this old time looking font just POPS! We created a classy monogram mixing the two fonts together to be placed above the couple names on the reply post card.

We didn't stop there with the personalizing. To complete detailing this invitation set we decided to add the same monogram to the back flap of the outer envelope. It's just that little extra somethin' somethin' to make this delicate classy invitation set complete.

This invitation was customized for a San Francisco fan....

We took our football theme birthday party invite and transformed into a San Fran football lovers dream. By switching the backing card stocks to maroon and gold this invite just got a little personal. We kept the same format mimicking the football field counting down to the football fans age. HE COULD GO ALL THE WAY!!!

A 40th Birthday Party Invitation ~ Just for Him

40th Birthday Football Inspired Invitations

The BIG 4-0 is something to celebrate. As another decade ends and a new one begins we take on the challenge of a more mature "cool" birthday invite. We are always challenged to create an invitation just for him. Clearly it has to be masculine - so what did we do you ask?????  Turn to football of course!!!
It doesn't get more manly than FOOTBALL!!!!

With a little thought and some creative wording we turned a 40th Birthday party invitation into something he's going to say is "pretty cool". We kept the colors masculine and strong using gray, black and white. We wanted to emulate a football field so when we designed this football birthday invitation we created yard lines leading up to the forty and printed it on a bright white card stock. We bordered this sporty invitation with a crisp black card (as a middle layer) and a steel shimmer gray cardstock on the bottom to pull it all together....HE COULD GO ALL THE WAY!!!

New Card Box ~ Burlap Wrap beach card crate

We've done it again!!!! We've transformed our simple crate into a stylish card box to match our Burlap Wrap invitation set. The box itself is painted an ivory color and has decorative fish netting throughout to protect the cards from falling through. We used the same papers we used for the matching invitation, Burlap Wrap, an ivory card stock and shimmery electric blue card stock to make a tag and banner. The large tag on the top of the crate read, "Mr. & Mrs," the bunting style banner reads "cards". Since we used sea grass images on the invitation and reply post card, we decided to make those grasses come to life on this card box. On the front of this card box we carefully placed a bundle of grasses on either side which are tied with burlap and a light peach ribbon. With also applied a thicker peach ribbon to each side of the crate and on the center clasp with a dried flower. 

This rustic seaside card crate is an elegant touch to any beach wedding.
