Endless Summer
Having a beach wedding without the traditional seascape colors? Don't worry it can be done :)
When we sat down with Helen & EJ they were looking for just that, beach wedding without the "beachy" palate. Deciding to have their wedding at the beach they visit so often - Ocean City, Maryland, was an obvious choice when making their plans. They wanted to include the sun and sand from their home away from home with their colors pink and navy. Like the perfect black dress we ALL have in our closet, sand can go with anything.
Starting with our creation for Kendra & Matt Pilson, "Barefoot in the Sand", we used this invitation as our foundation and incorporated Helen & EJ's colors.
Here's what this custom invitation included:
Invite, reply card, monogram tag and information card all printed on a cream card stock. The invite, monogram tag and information card are backed with a hot pink shimmer card stock. The invitation has sand adhered onto the left side of the printing of the cream card. We attached the invite to it's navy handmade paper cover, with two hemp knots. The navy handmade paper is a thick mulberry paper with hand torn edges and also doubles as a pocketfold. The pocket is made with a hemp knot keeping your enclosure cards snuggled up (and neat) making it easy to read for guests as they open it. The finishing touches include a tag with their mongram that is attached to a hemp wrap which encloses the completed invitation set.
